In June of 2020, I did two things that I never thought I would do.
I quit my full time job with nothing lined up. And I did so in the middle of a global pandemic, in the midst of an economic turmoil.
It was a huge risk. I was bearing witness to millions of people losing their jobs because of the shutdown. And here I was, with a full time job, a steady paycheck, and full benefits, willingly leaving to pursue a new path.
It was an extremely overwhelming and scary feeling, but I knew in my heart that my 9 to 5 was no longer fulfilling me and hadn’t been for a while. I felt restricted by the traditional confines of an office job and found myself craving a different career path.
I had been freelance writing as a side gig for several years, but decided that now was the time to take the plunge and pursue my passion full time. So I got to work.

I've loved writing for as long as I can remember, and have several journals full of cringeworthy content from sixth grade and on to prove it. When I'm not writing, I'm reading anything I can get my hands on.
And since our interests do not lie solely on the work we dedicate ourselves to, I also love learning about (and drinking) wine, baking, cooking, talking about space, traveling, and watching horror films. I also watch a little too much reality TV, if we're being honest.
